• Eastern Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)
• The same squirrel noshing on sunflower seeds

• This little guy's got a lot of CHEEK!! *giggle*

Birds

• Downy Woodpecker (Picoides pubescens)
• Black-capped Chickadee (Parus atricapillus)
• a Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) in his favorite habitat.
• the ever elusive Tufted Titmouse (Parus bicolor). Darn titmouses never sit still for more than a second or two. Have to be quick on the shutter button!!
• I actually caught a Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura) in flight!

Miscellaneous Subjects

• Reflection on the water
• I felt this shot looked rather cathedral-ish in my own sort of way.
• Catbriar (Smilax laurifolia), not raspberry.
• An old insect case that I found utterly fascinating. Those are pine needles that the insect glued to its silk.
• The tree is a Black Walnut (Juglans nigra L.). The clouds are cumulus :)
• Oh Deer, where did that hoofprint come from?
• Identification has been achieved! The plants in the photograph are Mountain Laurel (Kalmia latifolia), Pennsylvania's state flower.
